This exclusive red carpet affair underscores entertainers and artists in various award categories. Outlets such as radio stations, press/media, record and retail stores, as well as promoters, managers and DJs are also honored for the work they do for the independent entertainment community. A distinguished panel of 21 judges from throughout Maryland, DC, and northern Virginia areas select the winners of each category. As in 2010, this year’s voting panel will consist of an elite mixture of radio personalities, DJs and members of the press and entertainment media. For the 2011 DMV Music Awards, we look to partnering with major entertainment companies and media outlets, artists, and entertainment power-players from the DMV area.
